Keizer Library Champion Award recognizes volunteers, businesses and organizations that have made a significant contribution to the welfare of the Keizer Community Library.

The newly formed Friends of the Keizer Library is proud to sponsor this award for 2026. The presentation of this award was inaugurated in 2015.  Its creation was in response to the outstanding dedication, advocacy and unflagging commitment to the Keizer Library by Art Burr, former Library Manager and Board of Director member.

The Keizer Library Champion award honors an individual or community organization for extraordinary service to the Library where notable contributions of time, talent or resources resulted in the enhancement of Keizer Community Library services. It could also note substantial involvement in and support of the Keizer Community Library over a period of years. Library Champions are advocates who work tirelessly and significantly on behalf of Keizer Community Library. 

City of Keizer residents may submit a nomination for the Keizer Library Champion Award.  Nominations must be received by May 1, 2026.
